MOJO: How to Get It, How to Keep It, How to Get It Back If You Lose It by Marshall Goldsmith


“When was the last time you thought about your reputation?” – this is a question Marshall Goldsmith poses to listeners in his book ‘MOJO’. But reputation is not the only subject discussed in this book. From what I gather and to put it in a nutshell, this book is an overall discussion on how people can reach (and then maintain) the point in their life where self-actualization and self-fulfillment has been achieved both personally and professionally.

In other words, looking in and determining whether you are happy with your life, with yourself, with your work, with what you do, with what people think of you and with how much you can do. According to the author, “MOJO is that positive spirit toward what we are doing now that start from the inside and radiates to the outside.” How positive you are depends on your attitude towards life and your attitude towards life can be changed if you make changes in the different areas of your life that are not helping you reach your goals.
