Bring Out the Best in Every Employee by Don Brown and Bill Hawkins

‘Bring Out the Best in Every Employee’ (BOTBIEE) puts together opinions of different public figures in management, leadership and success. The book, like several others I have reviewed before, has opinions and findings of the authors along with an interview style excerpt throughout every chapter in the book.

The main idea of the book is that we are living in a world where many things have become the ‘new-normal’ in daily life and these ‘new-normal’ changes will have to be embraced in order to BOTBIEE. Some of the main subjects covered include emotional intelligence and employee engagement. The fact that companies today have to ‘do more with less’ is one of my favorite areas of discussion in this book.

If you want a book that can be used for academic work, this is the one.

Recommendation: Management professionals.
